Detailed Scan

Finally did it yesterday!

The scan took exactly 30 minutes. The Fetal Maternal Doctor scanned Peter Pan Baby from head to toe.

So far, Peter Pan Baby looks alright and it is confirmed once again that he's a boy.

The doctor checked for the nasal bone to see the likelihood of down syndrome and also for cleft lip. All looks good.

Peter Pan Baby has this bubble thingy inside of him which means that he's drinking water and it's being accumulated in his bladder which means his kidneys are functioning.

He has five little fingers and toes on both hands and legs. His hand was stagnant at the thumbs-up position the whole time yesterday. I wonder if that was his way of telling us everything's alright.

We even saw him open his mouth for a bit and the doctor was pointing out Peter Pan Baby's tongue to us but as we are no experts in ultrasound, I couldn't make it out -_-

Ok, those are the only things that I could remember as the other parts of the body seems a bit too complex for me to comprehend (partly due to the fact that I always failed bio in school).

But overall, Peter Pan Baby's measurements were plotted into graphs and he's growing right on track! *waves pom-poms in the air for Peter Pan Baby*

Peter Pan Baby was so cute. Lying comfortably on the placenta.

The doctor said that Peter Pan Baby's a friendly baby for scanning. He said it made his life so much easier apparently and with a friendly baby like Peter Pan Baby, it made it hard for him to stop scanning hehe.

Maybe Peter Pan Baby could sense that I was a worrier so he nicely positioned himself for the scan to put my mind at ease.

Now that that's done. I just hope that the whole pregnancy would carry on smoothly without any further complications :)
